Mimby Jones Robinson is an Australian artist and creator who specialises in large scale colourful Godddess murals and street art work. Mimby's world is full of colour so it only makes sense for her to draw no line between her life and canvas. Mimby adorns herself in rainbow attire and is never seen without sparkles on her face, glitter in her hair and a colourful flower headdress on her head.
She has spent the past 5 years living in the UK, Victoria and SA creating mural work alongside the world's most talented street artists. Mimby's artwork has been featured alongside the top 40 Australian street artists in the 2017 'Street Art Australia' Book , as well as the 2017 'Melbourne Street Art Guide' by Thames and Hudson. Over the years her work has been featured in Vexxed Art and Culture Magazine, French Arts and Culture Magazine Aesthetica, Melbourne blog Thirty Summers , most recently was the feature artist for the Melbourne CBD News, front page of the South Australian Messenger Newspaper and also an interview featured on the Totally Wild Television Show.
She has been exhibiting her paintings for over 10 years through out the UK and Australia. Her most recent achievement was being asked to exhibit her Goddess paintings in London UK for the N90 Gallery in March 2017 for the second time. This year her work be displayed alongside top UK street artists Kev Mundy and Blair Zaye.
Her current street art work can be seen in Hosier Lane VIC , Edinborough Gardens, Queen St, SA, Elizabeth SA, Bakers wife, Camberwell, Henley beach and London UK, Manor House UK. In Feb 2017 she was commissioned by the City of Playford to create a Rainbow Queen Mural for the Adelaide Fringe Street Art Explosion. This Mural was Mimby's biggest to date measuring 20m x 15m and spread across the entire wall of the Elizabeth Shopping centre. This year saw Mimby collaborate with international street artist Jimmy C, Seb , Aurealia Carbone and Elizabeth Close to re vamp the walls of Chesser Lane in Adelaide as part of Adelaide's Street Art Explosion.
Later this year Mimby is taking her colourful street art to the walls of Melbourne, Sydney, New Zealand, Berlin, Paris and Amsterdam as well as exhibiting more canvas work locally and internationally.
